Chasing Daylight
I began a book called Chasing Daylight by Erwin McManus. He is a rad guy that lives down in Pasendena, started the Mosaic church. I heard him speark about 5months ago at a christian leadership conference here in the Bay. He is very humble, creative, innovative & motivating.

Chasing Daylight encourges the reader to live a proactiv life. god doesnt check out calendars before calling us to do His work. His timing may be our worst timing. Do we even notice if He happends to interupt?

I think out of all of my interests, I would be able to choose just one and go for it, doing gods work and worships Him thru it. However its overwhelming to choose just one. Become a teacher, persue Interior Design, what about photography, and how about managment? what happened to planning and coordinating? what about special events? Is their an ultimate job description to fitwho nicole marie johnston is? i want something that challenges me, that serves those in need. I want to inspire others & live a life full of gratitute and grace. i want to reflect gods love on gods behalf. can i accomplish all these things in one lifetime? what do i got, 56 more years?
ok so that is a fair amount of time.

is money always going to be my decision maker? money it is the way of the western world.

so god, any advice on which direction to head now?

Hello! My name's Rob. I came across your blog by searching Erwin McManus. He is such a great communicator...I'm currently reading Soul Craving and I loved Chasing Daylight.

I think a lot of people are asking the same questions you are. There's a lot you're passionate about and want to be able to use those skills and passions for the Lord. But where do you start?

I work with a non-profit ministry in Dallas, TX called The RightNow Campaign. Check out our site - www.rightnow.org - Under the 'SERVE NOW' section, you can search through different opportunities to put your skills and passions into action throughout the US and even the world.

We also host national conferences for young-adults called LeadNow+Fusion Conferences. Erwin is our main guest speaker this year along with Francis Chan, Donald Miller, Margaret Feinberg, Dan Kimball, and more. More details are under the EVENTS section on our site.

Anyways, just wanted to say hey, let you know I enjoyed your blog and ask many of the same questions myself. Let me know if I can be of any help, or if you have any questions about RightNow - feel free to call up here to the office anytime at 972.560.4000 or email me - rwilson@rightnow.org

Have a great day!
